North Yorkshire's Black Sheep brewery has won the opportunity to sell its products at the Tall Ships Races in Hartlepool.
The event, scheduled to be held next week, is expected to attract as many as one million visitors, and the Masham-based brewer is given the chance to offer its products to them. Black Sheep will work in collaboration with Premier Event Bars.
A range of shows will be conducted in Hartlepool between August 7 and 10 as part of the event. The town will also be the finish line for this year's race.
Rob Theakston, joint managing director of Black Sheep Brewery, said: "Mark and Sharon Hopkins of Premier Event Bars have over 28 years experience within the pub and drink industry, and we are proud to be supporting them through this exciting opportunity and into the future."
The brewery is also backing a ship in the race, called the Rona II. The crew members are being supplied with beer, together with branded t-shirts and banners.
Premier Events Bars managing director Mark Hopkins said: "The Tall Ships Races is such a huge prestigious event to be part of and my wife Sharon and I are looking forward to continuing our unique relationship with Black Sheep Brewery.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to share traditional ale with visitors and crews travelling from all over country and even the world."
