Pateley Bridge
Pateley Bridge is a market town in Nidderdale in the Borough of Harrogate and is situated on the River Nidd. The town is the start and finish of the Nidderdale Way, a circular route of around 53 miles. Pateley Bridge is also the location of the Nidderdale Museum housed in a Victorian workhouse. The museum exhibits reflect the life of ordinary local people in times gone by. Other local attractions include Stump Cross Caverns, Ripley Castle and Bolton Abbey.
Pateley Bridge is located to the north-west of Harrogate on the B6265 and a bus service runs from Harrogate.
